We are currently seeking a Power Generator Marine Mechanic to join our Oxnard, CA team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing marine generator systems and diesel engines to ensure reliable performance for marine vessels and related applications.

Starting wage for a Marine Power Systems Technician will depend on experience and education. $39.88 - $49.96 

Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay: $33 – $57.50/hr (DOE) + Overtime + Full Benefits

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair marine diesel engines, generators, and power systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems
  • Service standby generator systems from 5KW to 3200KW
  • Perform load bank testing and system calibrations
  • Diagnose AC/DC controls, ATS systems, and control logic
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Perform engine overhauls and component replacements
  • Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
  • Provide strong customer service while working independently

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with diesel engines (marine or industrial)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of automatic transfer switches (ATS)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • CAT or similar equipment experience is a plus

One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Five plus year's heavy equipment experience or equivalent education and experience.
