Branch Manager
As the Laverton (& Geelong) Branch Manager, you will drive operational excellence across all aspects of service and parts while shaping a positive, united workplace culture where strong standards, respectful behaviours, and collaboration are non-negotiable.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of over 60+ experienced professionals in one of our larger branches.
You will lead, inspire, and coach your team to achieve both operational success and exceptional customer satisfaction while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong safety-first culture.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of success and high performance across all areas of the two branches
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring growth and achievement of KPIs, including WIP discipline, labour efficiency and utilisation, and profitability
• Actively promote and manage a robust safety culture, with an emphasis on contamination control
• Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
• Maintain financial accountability for the branches, including budget management and cost control
• Manage the Laverton and Geelong facilities ensuring operations align with company goals
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced leader in Operations within the heavy machinery industry who excels in fast-paced environments, overcoming challenges to deliver exceptional results for our customers.
Along with your strong problem-solving, conflict management, and commercial skills, you have a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve sustainable growth.
Your Ideal Skills and Attributes
• Proven track record in improving operational efficiencies and delivering profitable results
• Experience in developing long-term internal and external relationships at all levels
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and lead high-performing teams
• A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of Cat products and services (highly regarded)
• A deep commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices
