Branch Supervisor
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and commercially focused leader to step into the key role of Branch Supervisor – someone ready to take ownership of branch performance, inspire a diverse team, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
Reporting to the Clayton Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations – from managing service teams, to driving safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will not only keep operations running smoothly, but also foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong safety-first culture.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Daily Responsibilities Include
• Leading day-to-day branch operations across Service, Coordinators and Administration teams
• Driving a strong safety culture, reporting hazards and near misses, and maintaining a safe workplace
• Monitoring key branch KPIs, including WIP discipline, labour efficiency and utilisation, warranty WIP, and profitability
• Managing operational costs, workshop supplies and resources in line with budget
• Working closely with Service Coordinators and Team Leaders to ensure smooth job scheduling and customer satisfaction
• Overseeing training, coaching and development for Technicians, Apprentices and Coordinators
• Ensuring technical accuracy, quality repairs and customer-first service delivery
• Building and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships
ABOUT YOU
You are a proven leader with strong business acumen and technical know-how, who thrives in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
• Trade qualification as a Diesel Technician or Machinist/Fitter & Turner
• Service or Branch Management experience within the earthmoving or heavy equipment industry
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and lead high-performing teams
• A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Proficiency with computer systems (DBS, SAP, Outlook, CRM or similar)
