Why This Role Matters

As a Sales Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience within the Agricultural (AG) and Construction Business sector while developing essential sales and customer relationship skills to build a successful career with Butler Machinery. This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to all aspects of Butler Machinery’s equipment operations, equipping you with a strong understanding of our business functions. In addition, you will support various departments through sales assistance and cross-functional collaboration as you grow into a key contributor to the Butler team.

What You’ll Do

• Be an expert on all brands, equipment, and services that Butler represents in our AG and Construction Business and systems.
• Be a master at building long-term relationships with current and new customers.
• Support the team with assisting with Demos in the territory and farm shows.
• Traveling for day trips or overnights, for job shadowing or support of the team.  

What You Bring

• Education in Agri-Business, or business experience, training related to the agriculture industry.
• Basic knowledge of retail finance, current farming practices, or leasing.
• Ability to problem-solve, be a self-starter with high energy to learn and do more!   
• Willingness to relocate as salesman, product specialist, demo operator or other openings across BMC.
