Without direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician A performs general maintenance to facilities in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”
Pay Rate:$32.00-$35.00 per hour.
Pay is based upon education and experience.
Essential Functions:

- Repairs small equipment, including sweepers, scrubbers, landscape equipment, and small engines
- Performs general construction (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- Performs landscaping functions, including tending commercial sprinklers and controls, mowing/pruning grass and bushes
- Performs electrical work that involves knowledge of 3 phase, troubleshooting controls, and installation of circuit runs
- Inspects, adjusts, and repairs blowers, filters, and controls
- Performs plumbing functions, including installing fixtures, installing pipe systems, and repairing water recycling systems
- Repairs and maintains HVAC systems
- Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance, including commercial overhead doors, overhead cranes, pumps, and air compressors
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Physical Demands & Competencies:
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
- Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
- Safety & Product Knowledge
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.
- Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 55 pounds or more
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years commercial maintenance technician experience
- Considerable experience working with single phase (electrical)
- Some experience with three phase and control maintenance (electrical)
- Some overhead door experience (mechanical)
Work Environment:
- Noise: Moderate
- Indoors and Outdoors
