Step into a role that keeps customers and industries running. Based out of our Clayton branch, we’re seeking a highly skilled Field Service A Grade Electrician – Power Generation to join our Field Service team on a full-time, permanent basis, reporting to the Field Service Supervisor.
In this hands-on field role, you’ll work with some of the most advanced Caterpillar power generation systems in the industry – diagnosing, servicing and repairing critical equipment that supports industrial, commercial and essential operations. Every job you take on plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable power and real value for our customers.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Your typical day will include:
• Onsite trouble shooting, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of Caterpillar power generation systems with mechanical and electrical.
• Fitting of electrical safety equipment
• Follow all regulations and industry practices
• Completion of all required paperwork accurately and timely
• Provide workable solutions to our customers
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
• Trade qualified ‘A Grade Electrician’
• Strong electrical and electro-mechanical skills
• Highly skilled in the servicing, maintenance and repair of generators of various types and sizes, experience working on Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills of all types of electrical systems
• Good computer skills and user knowledge of laptop diagnostic software
• Hold a current drivers license
• Have a strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• Be willing to support and assist the Mechanical Technicians when required
