The primary responsibility of the branch shuttle driver is to help unload and sort parts, load and deliver small equipment for Sales Department, maintain a clean driving record, and represent Mustang CAT in a professional manner in and away from the shop. Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintain pre-trip and inspection log
- Report any unsafe problems to the Parts Supervisor
- Inspect and secure loads on truck bed and trailer
- Check manifest before departing to Bryan
- Unload parts and components at correct area
- Sort backorders
- Pick up stock and non-stock parts
- Check manifest for components or equipment that need to be brought back
- Drop off parts at correct drop box locations
This position requires a high school graduate or equivalent. Qualified candidates must possess:
- A CDL license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience transporting goods or equipment
- Must be a self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude
- The confidence to make rapid and safe decisions due to the hours of the position
- Position Hours: 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. - Shuttle driver work day starts Monday night (mid-night) - Friday mid-night ending Saturday morning. Driving route from Houston to Bryan
