Recruiting Coordinator

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for partnering with a highly energetic and collaborative team of recruiters and business managers to support the entire recruiting process. The successful candidate is responsible for leveraging technology and data to source talent, recruit, and screen applicants for a variety of positions primarily in the diesel technology and heavy equipment fields. Other recruitment efforts for other general roles will be required as business needs dictate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Supports college, vocational technology programs, and high school talent pipeline initiatives.
- Research, schedule, and attend career fairs.
- Performs and participates in initial phone screening, reference checks, and interviews.
- Assist recruiters with maintaining applicant tracking system; update online job boards and in-house electronic job boards
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Uses current sourcing trends, techniques, tools and technologies to build candidate pipelines and manage the candidate experience throughout the sourcing process for active and future requisitions
- Serve as a brand ambassador for WEC at various recruitment functions such as job fairs, career expos, and professional conferences
- Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of recruiting, human resources, or similar experience desired.
- Demonstrated work experience and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Applicants must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without need for company sponsorship.
- Inquisitive with a demonstrated passion for learning and process improvement.
- A creative and gifted communicator with the ability to become a strong ambassador for the company.
- Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
