Inside Product Support Representative

The Inside Sales Representative establishes and maintains a professional inside sales relationship with assigned customers to ensure customer satisfaction, increased sales and profitability while maximizing the Company product support value.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
- Highly self-directed
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- High degree of mechanical aptitude
- Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
- Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, high integrity and accountability standards
- Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the Company
- Analyze the Company and competitive pricing, distribution, actions and policies and make recommendations to improve sales, market share and profit for each assigned customer
- Develop and maintain all assigned customer information, including ownership, personnel changes or assignment
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and merchandising programs offered
- Review on an ongoing basis equipment usage trends for the customer
- Update incremental sales gains for assigned customers, monthly
- In assigned territory, develop potential customer base & assist new customers in opening accounts with the Company
- Monitor and report all pertinent parts and service marketing information relative to competitive activity, customer information, and product performance
- Identify areas for new opportunities to continually expand Product Support Sales coverage
- Knowledge and effective use of pricing, inventory management, and merchandising plans to achieve maximum impact
- Communicate clearly and precisely both verbally and in writing to all levels of company management, the Company customers, employees, and outside vendors
- Control and manage personal travel and business expenses
- Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
- Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
- Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
- Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
