What You Will Be Doing:

As the Product Support Sales Manager you will lead a team of Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs) and is responsible for the development and training of the sales team.  Responsibilities also include development and administration of product support marketing programs.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily performance of the Parts and Service sales force, including weekly ride along with sales representatives
  • Utilize Caterpillar marketing programs to increase Parts and Service sales within the branches
  • Develop short and long range forecasts, objectives, and action plans
  • Develop and direct Parts and Service merchandising programs
  • Management product and sales training for Parts and Service salespeople
  • Ensure good customer relations and resolve customer issues as necessary
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in the heavy equipment industry.  This could include as a diesel technician, sales representative or store manager.  Prior sales and management experience would be preferred, along with excellent analytical, organization and communication skills. 

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Minimum of ten years of Heavy Equipment experience. 
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Prior experience as a Product Support Sales Representative
