Job Summary:


The Heavy Rents Sales Coordinator is responsible for working with the Regional Sales Managers, Allied Sales Managers, Office Managers and Territory Managers to facilitate the profitable rental of all Prime Product Heavy Rents assets. Works to drive Heavy Rents ROA (Maximizing Rental Rates; Eliminating waste; Driving Cost Recovery).


Responsibilities:




  • Territory Manager assistance activities: take calls, answers questions, quotes rates.



  • Facilitates / coordinates equipment hauling in support of Territory Managers' needs through appropriate channels; processes billing.



  • Assists Territory Managers in choosing correct equipment size, mix, and model for application and jobsite requirements.



  • Coordinates / schedules maintenance and repairs with Service Department; monitors repair status and costs.



  • Updates rental transactions and related information into IRents / DBSi software



  • Ensures accurate and timely rental transactions: invoicing, insurance verification, credit checks, payment terms, etc.



  • Investigates and resolves Territory Manager problems with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing, and related logistics.



  • Makes recommendations to management regarding changes in the rental fleet mix and equipment needs to maximize revenue.



  • Reviews rental equipment check-out / check-in documents



  • Works with Service Department to ensure equipment abuse by customers are identified and billed accordingly.



Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree or equivalent office management experience required

  • 3 + years office management, administration, or coordination experience

  • Prior experience working within an equipment rental/sales environment

  • Prior equipment management experience preferred

  • Intermediate MS Office knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of basic accounting principles as well as the ability to become fluent with Fabick's proprietary business systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a team environment

  • Ability to multitask

  • Leadership, time management, and organization skills
