Engineering Intern - OEM
Responsibilities:
- Main focus will include reviewing, editing, and working with Inside OEM Sales Engineers to update current build instructions
- Demonstrate the application of basic Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking
- Investigates product problems, understands basic diesel engine operation, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.
- Obtains input from internal stakeholders such as warehouse employees, technicians, technical communicators, project leaders, and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to improved process decisions.
- Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.
- Perform typically as an individual contributor within or in support of a team. - Plans, organizes, and leads small project teams
- Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
Qualifications:
- Engineering college student in between semesters
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Preferred.
- Computer Skills; Proficient in standard Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
