Parts Counter/Utility Associate-NTZ

We are seeking a customer-focused Parts Counter/Utility Associate at our heavy equipment location in Natchez . We offer competitive compensation, great benefits, and a standard five day work week with some scheduled OT. The Parts Counter/Utility Associate is responsible to participate in the day to day execution of branch parts counter sales, warehouse, and facility maintenance operations.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of parts counter sales and customer service including but not limited to preparing quotes for parts and service, determining parts availability, posting and executing orders/returns/exchanges/backorders, cross selling and following up on leads, investigating and resolving customer issues and complaints.
- Record the return of parts credits and acknowledgments in the work order system. Assist technicians with parts inventory returns, core returns, and warranty returns. Therein, inspect, determine reusability/residual value, and process returns for credit and shipment in accordance with prescribed re-manufacturer/warranty guidelines and company policy.
- Fabricate customized hydraulic hoses to specification, using bulk materials in accordance with all prescribed quality and safety standards.
- Participate in all functions related to the parts order management process including but not limited to receiving, system posting, shelving/storing, picking/pulling, and shipping parts and components in accordance with all prescribed quality and safety standards.
- Operate ladder and material handling equipment (i.e. forklift and pallet jack) to pull and transfer parts and components to designated areas for customer delivery or warehouse stocking in accordance with all prescribed safety standards.
- Perform facility-related janitorial tasks (emptying trash bins, cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, washing windows) in accordance with all prescribed safety standards.
- Maintain a professional and proper personal appearance at all times.
- Keep up to date with developments in parts, tooling, and systems.
