Parts Handler

Pay: $27.51/hour

Key qualifications:
- Clean & valid driver’s license required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Knowledge of parts a plus
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask is required
- Computer literate
Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Pull parts from stock per PSO’s (will-call, counter, shop, transfer, etc.)
- Respond promptly to customer pick-up orders
- Put parts in stock from daily stock orders, branch transfers, credits, etc.
- Assemble Caterpillar and custom hoses
- Pack and ship parts as needed
- Truck deliveries as required
Maximize Parts Department’s efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure accuracy of pulled parts and returned parts
- Research inventory discrepancies
- Maintain will-call area and parts warehouse areas for parts retrieval accuracy
- Maintain proper flow of orders to be pulled
Successfully contribute toward a culture of safety through completion of all safety initiatives and demonstrating safe work habits.
- Complete/attend all safety meetings, computer-based safety training, safety audits, and other safety training as assigned
- Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies, and training
- Immediately resolve and/or report all safety issues to supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all Contamination Control Initiatives
Qualifications:
