Haul Div Mgr/Dispatch

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Five years or more of field service or dispatching experience is normally required. Previous management experience preferred. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screening test.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages haul drivers to coordinate equipment transport to and from customer sites using Cheetah dispatch software.  Monitors employee and customer needs to ensure employee development and customer needs are satisfied while working within a budget to achieve an acceptable level of profit and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and employee morale.

Promptly takes calls and accurately logs pick-ups and deliveries.

Accurately obtains all pertinent information from customers to effectively pre-plan job.

Effectively communicates any changes in job schedule with customers as needed.

Invoices are processed correctly and kept current.

Maintains current knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Driver log books are kept current and are completed accurately

Obtains necessary permits to ensure all loads are hauled legally.

Inspects trucks and trailers to ensure they are maintained in accordance with DOT regulations.

All PMs and DOT inspections are kept up to date.
