Earthmoving Machine Delivery Specialist - CDO

The Delivery Specialist - CDO is responsible for being present during machine deliveries to inform the customer of the recommended daily maintenance and required scheduled service intervals to maintain warranty, as well as to demonstrate the proper operation of the equipment. This includes features/ benefits and covering placement/function of all switches and controls. In addition, the Delivery Specialist will perform minor repairs such as tightening loose items, calibrating machine functions and up to replacing failed O-rings. The Delivery Specialist will assist the Machine Sales Representatives with machine inspections when required. The Delivery Specialist will conduct task training for operators of the equipment and provide operator training, teaching proper operating techniques according to Caterpillar standards. The Delivery Specialist will demonstrate initiative, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. A valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.

• Be thoroughly familiar with all Earth Moving and Specialty Products (as needed)
• Assist as needed with the continual training of Sales and Service personnel
• Conduct features and benefits demonstrations
• Train operators on proper operating techniques
• Perform minor repairs on equipment
• Actively study/test to become certified by Caterpillar as a machine operator and trainer instructor
  • CAT certified Dealer Operator (CDO) 1-2 years est.
  • CAT certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) 3- 4 years est.
• Provide liaison support between customer, TTCo, and our vendors
• Establish and maintain personal working relationships with customers
• Inspect and evaluate machines
