Job Summary:



Position is responsible for maintaining accurate equipment inventory for the sales department, creating customer orders, customer invoices, collecting timely payment, and supporting the Sales Representatives as needed.



Responsibilities:


* Answer customers' questions in person and via phone and email about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms and recommend products based on customer needs and interests. Directs the work of field technician based on customer requirements.
* Creates sales contracts, sales invoicing and adding new inventory to the system when needed. This includes but is not limited to adding bulk inventory and processing the payables for these items.
* Track, estimate, and report accruals monthly. Communicate with vendors to ensure accuracy and timely payables are received. Contact customers to inform them of status of payment and assist the Credit Dept. with collection of funds.
* Contact regular and prospective customers to offer products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services.
* Provide support for rental sales representatives with any needs that may arise.
* Calculate charges of merchandise and services provided. Invoice these rental items and services timely and assist in collecting payment.
* Prepare rental forms, obtaining the customer signature and other information, such as required licenses and insurance certificates. Inspect and adjust rental items and explain rental fees, policies and procedures to customers. Reserve items and keep rental records. Prepare customer invoices and insure they are accurate prior to invoicing customer.
* Coordinate and /or preforms activities associated with shipping, receiving, distribution, and transportation.
* All other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree or related business experience.
* 1-3 years business experience in sales
* 1-3 years business experience in rental sales
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software applications.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.




Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend and stoop to perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
