HVAC Technician
Description
- Able to read complex electrical schematics.
- Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging
- Brazing copper to copper and dissimilar metals
- Advanced refrigeration side troubleshooting
- Thorough understanding of refrigerant superheat and subcooling
- Combustion analysis
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Basic computer skills.
- High School diploma required.
- Degree from a recognized HVAC school
- EPA Universal Refrigerant certification
- 5+ years of applicable experience
- Valid driver license

- Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight (15-50 pounds), sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, and speak, some travel within the area and occasionally outside the area, and may experience prolonged and irregular work hours, and work with frequent interruptions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
