Supervisor Parts Sales Center
DESCRIPTION:
Supervises and coordinates all activities and functions within and pertaining to the Parts Sales Center to ensure an efficient and high-quality parts service to our customers. Assists with leading a 24-hour Parts Sales Center for the Company. This position will assist with selecting, managing, training and motivating Parts Sales Center Representatives and work to increase sales revenue and improve the efficiency of phone-based parts sales.
REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years’ experience in equipment parts sales/purchasing

Management/Supervisory experience required
-
Willingness to learn, be trained and coach
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge/ability with customer service and support

Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with developing and maintaining a training program which includes product knowledge, great customer service, “up-selling,” TRACS, credit policies, inventory control procedures and identify additional training needs

Supervise the daily Parts Center

Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties

Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license

Work with Manager Parts Sales Center to recruit, interview and hire talented individuals for the department

Develop job aids for other items such as after-hours calls for other departments

Work with other division and department within the company for special marketing programs
-
Conduct annual reviews and develop an ongoing performance management program

Plan, organize, control, and evaluate staffing levels to help achieve effective Parts Sales coverage and phone coverage

Ensure all customer orders are handled efficiently and their complaints are handled promptly and courteously

Assist with monitoring payroll, supplies, and expenses for the Parts Sales Center

Hire, train, and supervise staff

Work with employees to set aggressive professional and achievable goals to enhance the employee’s performance

Use coaching techniques to recognize employees’ accomplishments and strengths and to improve any other areas
-
Evaluate employee performance on a regular basis and prepare the related Position Descriptions, Performance Appraisals, and salary administration
-
Ensure all staff follow corporate and departmental standards and practices and take disciplinary action when required
-
Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes

Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code

Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly

Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the Company
