Salary Range $67,028.00 - $114,148.00 Annually
JOB SUMMARY:
Consistently manage sales processes from procurement to retail sale. Effectively manage in ambiguous settings; build both internal and customer relationships; report regularly to senior management financial results, develop and maintain a system of communicating key performance indicators, weekly billing progress, and inventory management. Manage assigned equipment for customer consignment / rent / lease on all product families. Manage the websites for inventory management. Review and provide continuous improvements to the sales department processes and systems. Support and train all sales personnel including Account Managers and PSSR's on all sales applications used in the sales processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage inventory including inventory procurement, inventory control and accuracy of inventory in Equipment Management System.
• Manage sales process including shipping and receiving, new equipment and rental inventory sales, invoicing, tax documentation and licensing.
• Support and train users in DBS-EMS, Account Link, Inventory Fast Facts, SIA and other corporate web based applications.
• Communicate with internal departments and authorize repairs, control repair costs, review work orders for the Sales Department for new, rental / lease and used equipment.
• Accountable to monitor and verify gross profits, compile and submit commission data.
• Mentor Inventory and Administration Support Staff.
• Review and provide continuous improvements to the Sales Department processes and systems.
• Liaison between departments such as Service, Accounting, Warranty, IS and Parts.
• Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review expense on equipment with repair percentages above present company goal, as selected by Sales Management.
• Review open service work orders for assigned products.
• Assist managers in reconciliation of equipment history to determine profitability.
• Serve as a notary for division legal documents for managers and customers.
• Work within and promote corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must have 5-10 years prior or current employment at a retail dealership or experience.
• Must have supervisory or management experience.
• Must have interpersonal skills to effectively assist people and maintain positive, professional customer relationships.
• Must have math skills sufficient for calculating costs and percentages.
• Knowledge in equipment sales accounting practices.
• Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively between all Empire departments such as Marketing, Parts and Service with some working knowledge of the before mentioned departments and the processes that integrate our departments.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• College degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years related experience in DBS.
• Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish for bilingual communication.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
