- Business Development: Increase rental revenue by fostering strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular job site visits within a designated territory.
- Rental Targets: Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed rental sales and profitability objectives, including complete rental opportunity pipeline: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing. Leverage marketing and sales tools to meet customer targets by identifying and selling to new rental customers and recovering dormant customers.
- Technical Proficiency: Provide technical assistance to customers regarding product specifications and applications, delivering accurate solutions tailored to their specific needs. Learn how to use our IT systems for quotes, rental, sales, reservations, and territory management.
- Sales Tools: Maintain accurate records of sales and customer pipeline activity in CRM software. Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Rental Coordinators, Rental Sales Representatives, Rental Sales Management, and other branch departments to provide accurate quotes and secure equipment to satisfy customer needs.
- Strong customer service skills are essential, with only minimal sales experience needed
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.
- A collaborative mindset, combined with a strong work ethic, is crucial for effective team collaboration within a department.
- General knowledge of construction equipment is preferred
