We're seeking a highly motivated Engineer Intern to join the team at our Manada Hill, PA location.

 

Position Summary:

 

This internship is a unique opportunity for a career minded individual to gain firsthand experience will play a pivotal role in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters. This position will require travel withing the Cleveland Brothers territory to work onsite at project locations. The successful candidate will work closely with our Electric Power Generation team contributing to the overall success of our organization while building functional engineering skills.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for 20-4000+ KW simple and complex, low/medium voltage electric power generation system sales projects.
  • Assist in coordinating project activities, including engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Serve as the assistant to senior project managers providing regular updates and addressing project-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Logistics, Business or Engineering related field:

  • MS Office proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage tasks, schedules, and data efficiently.
  • Strong communication abilities: Both written and verbal.
  • Critical thinking: Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-starter: Demonstrating initiative and proactiveness.
  • Research and writing skills: Useful for tasks like contract and service agreement writing.
