Cashier - HOLT Truck Centers
HOLT Truck Centers is seeking a bilingual Cashier with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. The cashier will utilize knowledge of routine accounting functions in accounts receivable and accounts payable to help facilitate the parts and service departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
- Handle customer complaints professionally and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
- Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of Procede preferred
- Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel
- Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Computer literate; accurate and heavy data entry skills required
- Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
