Parts Warehouse Associate
 
JOB PROFILE 
Receives, stores, picks, packs, and ships materials used in the daily operations of the business.
 
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required and three or more years of relevant experience desired.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and managers.
  • Must be able to complete TMCC forklift and training certification within first 90 days of employment. Upon completion of forklift training and certification all warehouse associates are required to perform forklift operations duties on an as needed basis which is determined by your immediate supervisor or manager.  
  • Proven experience as forklift operator is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strict adherence to all applicable corporate safety standards.
  • Must be available to work at assigned location, including overtime, evenings or weekends if needed.
  • Must be dependable.  Consistently arrives at work on time when scheduled.
  • Displays flexibility, handles changes to assigned tasks with ease. 
  • Must have patience to perform routine tasks daily, accurately, and consistently.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and a strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and self-initiative, and the personal drive to be successful. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Parts Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately bin and/or pull parts to maintain efficient parts ordering process.  Load and secure parts, equipment and/or accessories for delivery to other locations.  Process repair shop parts orders and/or returns.  Process Parts Counter sales and/or returns.  Assemble standard and custom hoses to meet various customer specifications.

  • Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
  • Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

  • Respond to all customer requests in a professional and courteous, timely and responsive manner.
  • Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance at all times, meeting all Company standards for professionalism.
  • Keep the Manager continually apprised to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.

  • Able to work standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
  • Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver's license issued by the resident State, and maintain current motor vehicle liability insurance. 
Physical Requirements
  • Pass pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position. 
  • Able to lift up to 50-80 pounds occasionally.
