Quality Specialist

Overview
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team and oversee the quality of all products and services that our organization produces. Quality Specialist responsibilities include developing quality standards and identifying issues in the production of our products or services. You will work with a team to ensure our final products meet our organization’s standards.
Basic Duties
- Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
- Performing routine inspections and quality tests
- Ensure that standards and regulations are observed
- Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors, suppliers and other departments
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
- Make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Specialist
- Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Military & veterans encouraged to apply
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting or servicing generator sets is a plus
- Must have clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will work in an office and shop environment. May, on a continuous basis, sit at a desk for a long period of time; answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means, and in a vehicle traveling to and from locations. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 20lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hat) when needed. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate to low.
