Shuttle Truck Driver 1 - 

HOLT CAT is seeking a full-time, 3rd Shift Parts Shuttle Truck Driver position available at our Fort Worth, Texas location. This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of parts and accessories between branch stores and the Caterpillar depot on schedule while adhering to company safety regulations as well as state and federal laws/guidelines. The hours of the position are Monday - Friday 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM. Must have a Class B CDL and be able to operate manual transmission trucks. Must have a minimum of 2 years of truck or box truck driving experience.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

  • Must be able to work from 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM 
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience required.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Must be able to have effective customer relations skills
  • Must be able to travel approximately 320 miles a night.
  • Must be able to drive 26’ Tandem axle box truck with a liftgate.
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
  • Must be qualified, certified, and have a Class B CDL.
  • Must be able to acquire and retain a DOT physical and medical card.
  • Must have an excellent driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license with Holt CAT within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be able to become MSHA certified.
  • Must be able to use computers for training, email, and clocking in and out.  (E-Logs used.)
  • Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person with good people skills.
  • Must have a steady employment history.
  • Must be capable of accurate order processing.
  • Must be able to become forklift-certified
  • Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 10 times a day.
  • Able to stand/sit for extended periods of time.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are required.

  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
  • Must be self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Required to adapt to a safety culture
