HOURS: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydraulics Assembly/Disassembly is responsible for rebuilding and repairing hydraulic cylinders using wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment. This individual will maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components and remain familiar with how the components work and operate.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Three years of experience in a heavy equipment repair shop environment is required.
- Related pump or cylinder shop experience is preferred.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Competencies in the use of wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment are required.
- Knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components, how they work, how they operate, and proper testing procedures are required.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work individually and with a team is required.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines with be required. Functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements that require hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
