Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, In-Office (No Remote Work)
About the Role:
Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking an organized, customer-focused IT Help Desk Specialist to join our Information Technology team. In this in-office role, you will be the first point of contact for internal users experiencing technical issues and will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and equipment. What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first level of technical support for hardware, software, system, and printer issues
- Manage incoming Help Desk calls and tickets, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Reset passwords, update user accounts, and assign support tickets to IT technicians.
- Set up, configure, and update company iPads and track related assets.
- Track and manage inventory for PCs and IT equipment.
- Perform quality control audits on equipment prior to deployment.
- Maintain records of all IT assets and equipment recycling.
- Assist the Communication Systems Support Specialist as needed.
- Distribute daily reports and handle routine administrative IT tasks.
- Complete additional tasks and projects assigned by IT management.
What You’ll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years administrative or clerical experience.
- 3+ years customer service experience; technical support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location:
- This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote work is not available for this role.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based with frequent sitting, walking, and computer use.
- May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
