Salary Range $58,796 - $100,130 per year
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, facilitation and execution of Empire’s Product Support technology training business initiatives. Works closely with Account Managers, PSSR’s, and CSM’s to provide solutions that will enhance client satisfaction by supporting Empire’s technology initiatives as part of our Empire Machinery (EM) Services & E-Business offerings. Effectively assesses the need for training through research and metric analysis and provides recommendations as appropriate to the Department Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Plan and direct training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops as required by AM’s, PSSR’s, CSM’s and clients.
• Develop and administer VisionLink/Unified Suite & E-Business training plans, procedures and programs that address the training needs of the marketplace.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of Empire's business and anticipate future Product Support training needs based on business realities and marketplace shifts in technology.
• Build and foster relationships with Caterpillar’s Technology Teams as they relate to Product Link, VisionLink/Unified Suite and E-Business Technologies.
• Develop systems metrics to ensure the results of VisionLink/Unified Suite and E-Business learning and development initiatives are achieving a desired return on investment.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Travel to outlying locations and client jobsites on an as-needed basis.
• Manage the day-to-day functions of Visionlink/Unified Suite and E-Business user interfaces including new user registration and accessibility.
• Work within and promotes corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Functional expertise in assessment, evaluation, and training needs analysis and organizational systems.
• Ability to incorporate Adult Learning principles, conducting trend research for best processes and practices.
• Strong computer skills and project management experience.
• Skilled at making clear and persuasive presentations. Builds credibility quickly with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, deal with issues or problems, work independently, drive for results and stay focused to accomplish objectives with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to think strategically and systemically.
• Ability to be flexible, creative and can grasp complex concepts and execute ideas. Motivated by challenges.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with individuals or in groups.
• Thorough understanding of technical skill sets by industry to promote custom training requirements.
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
• Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent years of experience specializing in Fleet Management software, Caterpillar Product Link, Visionlink/Unified Suite and/or related technologies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proof of current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
