RENTAL MANAGER
Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Rental Manager in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Rental Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the rental branch to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable operation to support the rental branch and corporate objectives. Duties include managing the day-to-day interaction with the sales and service team, promoting rental services, and managing profit and loss for the rental store, especially branch-controlled expenses. The Rental Manager is tasked with developing employees’ growth through coaching, mentoring and training, and for maintaining a culture of safety and teamwork. Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years’ management experience in a service related industry; Minimum of two years supervisory experience; Experience in the Rental Equipment Industry preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred.

Physical requirements must be met for the Rental Manager job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
