Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Parts & Stockroom Worker.

 

Position Summary:

Parts and Stockroom Worker to work a steady third shift, out of the Cranberry facility Monday through Friday, as an assigned route driver.  As work levels dictate, the route may be changed or modified as necessary.  The successful candidate will start at approximately 3:00 a.m. to satisfy customer needs.  Incumbent must be willing and able to work overtime each day based on the number and location of deliveries.

 

The successful candidate must be able to operate a forklift to load or unload the delivery truck.  As customer satisfaction is of primary consideration, good human relations skills and abilities and the personality to successfully communicate with customers is essential.  A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. 

 

This position requires a CDL- commercial driver’s license. The successful candidate will be required to pass a drivers’ physical, and all applicable tests associated with driving a parts truck. The successful candidate must complete the necessary paperwork required for the Company to process a Motor Vehicle Record check and Driver Qualification File and must have a driving record acceptable to the Company. Meet the Department of Transportation physical examination and licensing requirements as mandated by law; and all applicable tests associated with driving a parts truck.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to load or unload the delivery truck
  • Safely and efficiently operate a parts delivery truck to delivery customer parts orders to designated drop-off points and/or customer job sites
  • Load and unload parts truck and freight deliveries
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and required documentation
  • Meet the Department of Transportation physical examination and licensing requirements as mandated by law
  • Work regular overtime as required
  • Basic skills in shipping, receiving, freight in bound and out bound
  • Ability to understand the basic principles of inventory control
  • The ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and required documentation
  • Candidate must have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Intermediate computer, keyboarding, MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software products: Warrtrack, literature/media requests, SIB requests etc.
  • Resolve problems and make sound decisions
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
  • Work independently & efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Perform additional tasks as directed
  • Familiarity with product line a plus
  • Responsible to maintain professional behavior consistent with the Mission, Vision and values of Cleveland Brothers
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree in a business discipline or Technical school is preferred
  • Strong customer service support experience in a mechanical / parts environment, demonstrating ability to quickly learn to use various computer systems is strongly preferred
  • An appropriate combination of education, skills and experience will be considered
