Senior Systems Analyst

The Senior Systems Analyst serves as a leader while conferring with Information Services clients and other Information Services staff to analyze systems requirements, develop programming solutions, and plan and manage the design, development, testing, and implementation of systems according to established Information Services Department guidelines and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent industry experience
- Five to seven years professional experience as Programmer/Analyst using Microsoft .Net Framework
- Ability to work well with internal customers and management; and the ability to gather requirements and develop design specifications
- Experience with the following technologies is desirable: Visual Studio, C#, .Net, SQL Server, TSQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SharePoint, RESTful Web service
- Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead project user meetings, plan, analyze, design prototype and control systems projects as assigned
- Design and write computer programs as needed by following design specifications and Information Services Department programming procedures
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers, networks, programs and systems; stay up to date with changing technology and programs and how they could be used to enhance the Company performance and work
- Function as a senior staff member on any Information Services situation requiring senior knowledge, leadership, or assistance
- Provide maintenance to existing programs, operating systems, and documentation by understanding the reasons for the maintenance and making appropriate changed in accordance with established Information Services Department procedures
- Provide off hours support (nights & weekends) for application and computer operating problems by being on call
- Complete request for systems/programming as assigned by the Programming Manager, achieving desired objectives within the time frames allocated
- Assist Programmer/Analyst, Programmers, Associate Programmers in assigned duties
- Maintain knowledge of current methods/trends in data processing through self-education, trade journals and company sponsored courses
- Travel to company or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
