Tractor Trailer Driver - TRA
The TRA Driver is responsible for transporting parts, components, and equipment to and from customer, vendor, and company locations and job sites. Truck Drivers must be able to perform independently under limited supervision. Drivers will transport palletized loads, hydraulic cylinders, final driver, undercarriage components and tracks, and other items associate with our business. Drivers must be able to safely operate and load all types of equipment and safely operate a lift truck in the loading and unloading of cargo. The Driver will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.
Essential Responsibilities and Expectations
- Basic safe machine operation & inspection
- Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain truck and driving log according to DOT Regulations
- Adhere to DOT and Company safely regulations and procedures
- Keep and maintain a current DOT medical card for vehicles in the weight class (26,001lbs or greater)
- Ensure preventive maintenance on truck is performed as required
- Load and unload truck cargo
- Properly secure truck cargo for transport
- Ensure proper documentation for cargo including MSDS for hazardous materials
- Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly truck
- All essential job functions associated with Shipping Clerk and Truck Driver
- Pull proper parts from inventory in correct quantities
- Accurately process and complete parts orders without supervision
- Operate a lift truck in a safe manner
- Respond appropriately to customer demands
- Deliver parts and packages to designated areas in a timely manner
Schedule pickup and delivery of merchandise by common carriers

High School or Equivalent
