Automotive Fabricator
Description
- Expert Metal Fabrication Skills: Proficiency in hand‑forming aluminum and steel. Experience using tools like an English wheel or power hammer is a huge plus.
- Quality Welding Ability: Strong TIG and/or gas welding skills with an eye for clean, precise welds on steel and aluminum.
- Material Knowledge: Understanding different metals and grades — and knowing which to apply for the right job.
- Riveting Experience: Confidence in hard riveting techniques.
- Machining Competency: Experience running a mill and lathe with accuracy and efficiency.
- Automotive Understanding: A solid grasp of automotive systems and components.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: The ability to be flexible, take on diverse tasks, and contribute wherever needed.
- Composite Experience (Preferred): Bonus points if you’ve worked with composite materials.
