Technician III - Marine

About the Position:
Due to the increase in demand, NC Power Systems is searching for an ideal Marine technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing CAT equipment across multiple projects.
Essential Duties:
- Removing, Repairing, Assembling and Installing CAT equipment
- Coordinating with Parts department to order the necessary parts
- Planning and organizing to assist controlling job costs
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Degree in Diesel technology or equivalent hands on experience is required
- Experience with CAT Engines (Marine or Generator) is preferred
- This role requires the ability to stand up at a minimum of eight hours a day (including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds)
- Must possess basic tool set
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
