DESCRIPTION:


Establish and
maintain a professional inside sales relationship with assigned customers to
ensure customer satisfaction, increased sales and profitability while
maximizing the Company product support value. 
This is a developmental position for future Product Support Sales
Representatives. 
 


REQUIREMENTS:



  1. Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills

  2. Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs

  3. Highly self-directed

  4. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands

  5. Willingness to learn and be trained

  6. High degree of mechanical aptitude

  7. Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties

  8. Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license


 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:      



  1. Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, high integrity and accountability standards

  2. Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the Company

  3. Analyze the Company and competitive pricing, distribution, actions and policies and make recommendations to improve sales, market share and profit for each assigned customer

  4. Develop and maintain all assigned customer information, including ownership, personnel changes or assignment

  5. Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and merchandising programs offered

  6. Review on an ongoing basis equipment usage trends for the customer

  7. Update incremental sales gains for assigned customers, monthly

  8. In assigned territory, develop potential customer base & assist new customers in opening accounts with the Company

  9. Monitor and report all pertinent parts and service marketing information relative to competitive activity, customer information, and product performance

  10. Identify areas for new opportunities to continually expand Product Support Sales coverage

  11. Knowledge and effective use of pricing, inventory management, and merchandising plans to achieve maximum impact

  12. Communicate clearly and precisely both verbally and in writing to all levels of company management, the Company customers, employees, and outside vendors

  13. Control and manage personal travel and business expenses

  14. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes

  15. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code

  16. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly

  17. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures

  18. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
