The Manager - Digital Content and Strategy will be responsible for Foley’s overall digital strategy and execution, including external and internal websites, digital promotional programs (SEO/SEM, re-targeting, display, PPC, email, other online advertising mediums, etc.), and key social media platforms. Partner with internal teams and Caterpillar on content creation, integration and lead generation. 

Guide internal team members and agency partners on graphic design, UX/UI and content strategy for social media, external websites, company intranet and email communications. Drive digital analytics.

Direct Report(s): Digital Marketing Specialist

What you will do in this job: 
  • Oversee external, internal and social channel strategy execution while ensuring consistent message delivery. 
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute digital marketing campaigns and communicate with key internal stakeholders including business units and recruiting. 
  • Assess performance metrics including project and campaign analytics, efficiency metrics, brand metrics, pay-per-click, customer metrics, and overall return on investment for digital marketing and communications initiatives. 
  • Coordinate (and occasionally perform) writing, copywriting, editing, and proofing of marketing materials, web content and more. 
  • Maintain all messaging and branding consistency across digital channels. 
  • Develop and oversee execution of social media strategy, ongoing content development, coordination of multiple business line execution, and customer engagement. 
  • Responsible for the development and management of the internal and external websites, including SEO/SEM. 
  • Manage digital agency partners. 
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. 
 
Our Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent work experience), preferably in marketing, communications, IT, or related field, and 5-7 years of related experience in marketing and/or communications with experience in digital/interactive marketing; or a Master’s degree and 2 years of applicable experience. 
  • Experience managing the development of CMS-based web sites.  
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing waterfront (web, social, email, e-commerce, etc.).  
  • Solid comfort and knowledge of how to use CMS, in particular Word Press. Wagtail experience is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills and positive customer service.  
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to take ownership of multiple projects and priorities 
  • Ability to work independently within a deadline driven environment 
  • Excellent knowledge of Social Media strategy and how to use this channel inventively 
  • Ability to drive and valid license required 
 
What will put you ahead: 
  • A working knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, SQL databases and web publishing software is preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot.
  • Industry experience a plus
