Job Description:
- Maintain accurate records of all equipment and supplies, and coordinate inspections, maintenance, and certifications (e.g., forklifts, loaders, heaters, fuel tanks, light towers).
- Collaborate with field leadership to coordinate and document CVIP, quarterly inspections, scheduled PM services, and unscheduled repairs.
- Work closely with transportation, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure equipment and personnel are available as needed.
- Ensure yard staff complete all documentation for incoming and outgoing loads, verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), and obtain required signatures.
- Utilize the Cat Inspect App for equipment inspections and reporting.
- Schedule and oversee crane services for equipment loading/unloading, ensuring contractors complete orientation requirements.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure all drivers and visitors follow PPE and site protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and pick up of supplies and equipment.
- Train new yard personnel on safety procedures and yard policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and guard shack, and cross-train with facility reception for coverage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in yard operations coordination is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) and comfort with app-based platforms.

- Permanent, full-time role.
