WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Prepare energy rental equipment for deployment, ensuring that all equipment meets safety, operational, and appearance standards before rental.
- Perform minor make-ready repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment is fully functional and rental-ready.
- Manage yard inventory of all energy-related assets, including ancillary gear (e.g., spider boxes, panels, cabling), tracking their status and location to minimize downtime and maximize utilization.
- Oversee and perform check-in and check-out procedures for equipment entering or leaving the yard, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Coordinate, schedule, and execute delivery and pickup of rental equipment as needed, occasionally operating vehicles for transport.
- Schedule external shipping for equipment requiring off-site transport, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics.
- Respond to nightly call-out duties as scheduled or as required, delivering exceptional support and service outside of standard business hours.
- Promote and ensure compliance with safety standards and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and management to ensure a smooth rental process and high customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
- At least two years’ experience working with electrical equipment, warehouse/inventory operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
- Proficiency in the use of inventory management systems and standard office software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights as needed.
