CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver (3rd Shift)

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Shuttle Truck Driver (CDL A required) to deliver parts and equipment to other Ziegler branches and parts drops on assigned routes to take care of our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic to help support our growth. Hours: 830pm-6:30am, dependent on road conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Uses electronic log books
• Follows package tracking procedures when unloading and transferring cargo to ensure accuracy
• Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors
• Has positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
• Delivers parts into the proper drop boxes in a neat and orderly fashion
• Loads, unloads, and secures cargo
• Lifts heavy parts & components
• Completes Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Class A CDL required
• Hazmat endorsement (either currently possess one or able to obtain one)
• DOT medical certification card
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record
• 1+ year related experience
• Able to lift heavy items (see physical requirements below)
• Able to keep vehicle in clean and proper working order
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
• Highly motivated and hard worker
• Able to work required shift

• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a DOT drug screen and physical as a pre-employment requirement
