Summary

The Sales Planner at LiftOne plays a crucial role in the company's ability to effectively meet customer demand and requirements. They will collaborate closely with the sales, operations, and supply chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts to allow for optimal inventory levels. Additionally, they will interface regularly with customer-facing sales reps, parts-focused demand planners and supplier-facing procurement specialists to execute on-time order fulfillment. Analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying trends, analyzing data, and making informed decisions to support the company's growth objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Utilize Salesforce and SAP to create, place and maintain Quotes and Sales Orders.
  • Track Sales Orders throughout the entire order life cycle - collaborate with procurement and sales to ensure supplier-caused or customer-caused date changes are communicated effectively.
  • Search allied plant sites, departments and dealers for equipment to fill customer orders.
  • Partner with the service department at LiftOne branches to ensure timely Prep & Delivery of equipment to customer site.
  • Work with the credit & sales departments to resolve any customer credit concerns related to equipment Sales Orders.
  • Use customer-specific portals as required to process and maintain orders.
  • Partner with the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) and Fleet Assurance teams to collect customer feedback and analyze demand trends.
  • Work with rental & inventory analysts to understand requirements and maintain LiftOne-owned orders and assets.
  • Embrace and help strengthen a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and elite process ownership.
  • Task prioritization, conflict management, collaboration and proactive order management are all key requirements for this role.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • One to three years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, supply chain management or similar role required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Customer Service, Manufacturing scheduling, or Logistics experience welcomed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP S4/HANA experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • PowerBI/Tableau utilization preferred

Travel Requirements

  • 10% travel required
