Stowers Machinery Corporation is hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the full recruitment process and attract top talent while executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives aligned with business objectives. This role sources experienced professionals and builds technician and internship pipelines through strategic partnerships with local high schools, trade schools, and universities. The Talent Acquisition Manager partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, identify qualified candidates, and deliver a seamless, positive hiring experience while promoting a strong employer brand.
General Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, iCIMS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on candidate engagement.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Experience using recruitment data and metrics to guide decision-making.
- Successfully execute upon talent acquisition strategies that align with business and workforce planning goals.
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Utilize sourcing techniques (job boards, referrals, social media, networking) to identify high-quality candidates.
- Promote inclusive hiring practices to ensure a diverse talent pool.
- Maintain a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote Stowers Machinery Corporation’s values and culture through recruitment initiatives.
- Actively identify and resolve recruitment-related challenges to support business objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Think Big Program:
- Build a pipeline of technically skilled candidates by developing strategic relationships with high schools.
- Organize career fairs, workshops, and program information sessions to attract candidates for skilled technical roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to align program goals with company workforce needs.
University Relations & Internship Programs:
- Establish and maintain relationships with local universities, technical colleges, and vocational schools.
- Coordinate on-campus recruiting activities and develop internship programs aligned with business needs.
- Oversee intern recruitment, hiring, and onboarding while serving as the primary point of contact for interns.
Professional Roles Recruitment:
- Source and recruit candidates for mid-level and senior professional roles across departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
- Manage candidate pipelines, conduct in-depth interviews, and assist with salary negotiations.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Partner with hiring managers to guide hiring decisions and ensure alignment with workforce plans.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, ensuring compliance with policies and data privacy regulations.
- Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Train hiring managers on ATS usage and recruitment best practices.
Interview Management:
- Schedule and facilitate interviews, ensuring alignment on interview structure and best practices.
- Develop structured interview guides and scoring rubrics to support fair and consistent evaluations.
- Collect and consolidate feedback to drive timely hiring decisions while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Clear and understandable speaking voice for telephone and virtual communication.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Correctable vision and hearing required for communication and computer use.
Work Environment:
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
