SITECH Service Technician
- Perform all levels of repair and preventive maintenance on technology equipment, including site positioning equipment, GPS guidance equipment and laser guidance equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs, adjustments and calibrations on technology equipment
- Test and verify correct operation of all repairs, adjustments and calibrations made to technology equipment
- Clean and maintain work area, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on repairs needed and performed
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software – with training
- Preferred forklift experience
- Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications
- Ability to drive and valid license required
- Knowledge of use of various heavy equipment including, Caterpillar and knowledge of global positioning service (GPS) machine control preferred
- Stable work history
- Caterpillar/Trimble/GPS/GNSS software experience and troubleshooting and installation is a plus
