The Finance Representative is essential in supporting the sales department by ensuring that financing solutions are effectively managed and executed. By assisting in the oversight of all finance deals, the role enables sales reps to focus on their sales efforts while ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate financial information and options. This support directly influences the efficiency of the sales process, improves sales performance, and enhances customer satisfaction through well-structured financial solutions. In this capacity, the Finance Rep acts as a reliable resource for both the sales team and customers, helping to foster strong relationships and increase sales opportunities through the successful management of financing transactions.

Education Requirements:


Four-year degree required with concentration in business administration, finance, accounting or related field. Relevant work experience can replace education requirement.


Essential Job Functions:



  • Facilitates and encourages the use of retail financing and related insurance products (CAT Financial or otherwise) to increase company sales volume, profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepares and processes financial transactions on the online platform, including quoting deals, submitting for credit review, and negotiating terms between the customer and lender. This position is responsible for ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely manner to meet KPI targets set by management.

  • Oversees the credit-to-cash cycle for assigned transactions by actively communicating with customers, dealer sales reps and lenders throughout the entire financial process to ensure transactions are processed and payments are funded in a timely manner.

  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of the financial products provided by our lending partners and serves as a trusted advisor to both customers and dealer sales representatives.

  • Effectively works with our partners in the accounting department to manage receivables, including reporting, tracking and collecting as needed.

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate transaction records to ensure that KPI times are processed and analyzed effectively.


Preferred Experience and Skills:



  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required.

  • Salesforce and DBS experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of financial products and commercial lending practices.


Physical and Mental Requirements:


Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test.


Work Environment:


Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
