- Assist in the administration and updating of the organization's security stack.
- Work with Microsoft365 and networking components.
- Install and configure Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software, such as Cisco Secure Endpoint, Sophos XDR or SentinelOne.
- Respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Audit EDR deployment to ensure proper installation on all endpoints.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance overall cybersecurity measures.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of IT and networking principles.
- Experience with Microsoft365 and networking is a plus.
- Familiarity with EDR tools like Cisco Secure Endpoint or SentinelOne is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus but not required.
- Must have a strong learning capacity and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be team and career-oriented.
