JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking to add a Field Service Technician PM to our team of experienced and talented team. As an Ohio CAT Field Service Technician PM, you will perform preventative maintenance (PMs) crucial to keeping equipment running in the field on Caterpillar and other manufacturers' equipment. Other objectives in this position will include performing minor repairs, such as tightening clamps, replacing O-rings, and changing lights, changing hydraulic hoses, performing manufacturer service updates, as well as collecting and processing oil and fluid samples for testing and diagnosis. This position requires flexibility in daily schedule, and from time to time, starting and finishing times will vary. REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Have a thorough understanding of heavy equipment and preventative maintenance procedures and be able to perform minor repairs.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License, with Tanker endorsement, with an acceptable driving record under Ohio CAT standards
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or other OEM diesel engines
- Should have mechanical aptitude, and experience with construction or power equipment is preferred.
- Must have the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete repairs and manufacturers’ updates, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
- Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
- Dexterity Normal
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
