Warranty Claims Specialist
The Warranty Claims Specialist will perform Goodwill administration within the warranty group. The individual in this position will assist in recovering additional funds from CAT involving complex warranty claim situations and Goodwill/customer scenarios. The Warranty Claims Specialist will research and process warranty claim residuals to recover money spent repairing defects in Caterpillar and allied manufacturers.

Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
• Own Goodwill process- Earthmoving, Engine, Allied
• Negotiate Complex Warranty Claims and Settlements with Caterpillar
• Analyze warranty work orders and verify warranty coverage
• Communicate with other departments about any major changes needed to work orders and any irregularities they present
• Research and process warranty claims to CAT and other suppliers
• Possess a thorough understanding and working ability of dealerships accounting procedures as related to warranty
• Understand account reconciliation; transfer of debits and credits; work with Accounting Dept
• Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: Strong technical skills preferred. Must have experience using personal computers/ laptops. Experience with Caterpillar Systems preferred. The warranty claims specialist must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required
