We’re on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused professional to step into the fast-paced role of Service Coordinator – someone ready to play a vital part in the smooth delivery of service operations across one of our busiest and most dynamic teams: the Metro Field Group.
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you’ll be the crucial link between our customers, field technicians, and service team – juggling bookings, fielding technical queries, managing work orders, and ensuring every job runs smoothly, safely, and on time. Your background in the earthmoving or heavy equipment industry, paired with strong customer service skills, will give you the edge to hit the ground running and build trust with both our people and our clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE
What a day typical day will look like:
• Booking and scheduling work in progress
• Providing clear, accurate and timely information for job progress
• Coordinating, scheduling and allocation of jobs to our technicians
• Managing invoices to ensure pricing and product/machine component details are clear
• Effectively liaising with other departments to deliver effective solutions
ABOUT YOU
You will utilise your knowledge gained from your industry related background and pride yourself on outstanding customer service, as well as your organisational skills.
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:
• Ability to develop and maintain long term internal and external relationships
• Capable to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively within a high-pressure environment
• Mechanical aptitude essential and a background in earthmoving is preferable
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Coordination experience within a similar industry
• CAT dealer experience would be advantageous, but not essential
• A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic (preferred but not essential)
