Job Description

Peterson Cat has a need for a Product Support Data Coordinator who can be based at either our Hillsboro, OR or our San Leandro, CA location.

SUMMARY

The Product Support Data Coordinator is responsible for ensuring valid and accurate Product Support data within internal and external applications. Primary functions include entering and maintaining customer equipment population records and claiming, auditing, and reconciling discounts from Caterpillar.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Enter and maintain customer equipment population records with valid and accurate data.
  • Claim, audit, and reconcile discounts from Caterpillar using Product Support Commercial System (PSCS).
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Product Support data within DBS and related Caterpillar applications, including Opportunity Lead Generation Analyzer (OLGA), PSCS, DNA, and Sales to Users (STU).
  • Assist with resolution of Data Notification Alerts (DNA’s) as needed.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of written standard operation procedures (SOP’s) for all functions, processes, and procedures related to job functions.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.  

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist as needed with maintenance of customer records within DBS and/or company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.  
  • Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers/ coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure. 
  • Respectfully take direction from supervisor/manager.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree from a fully accredited college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience with data inputs and/or analysis, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The California hourly pay range for this position is: $28.00 - 33.00 hourly. The Oregon hourly pay for this position is $25.00 - 29.00. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
