Mustang Cat is Hiring: Used Machinery Product Specialist – Houston, TX
Mustang Cat is looking for a Used Machinery Product Specialist to join our Marketing team. In this role, you’ll help promote and support the sale of used Cat® machinery and power systems by ensuring our inventory is accurately represented, well-positioned, and fast-moving.
This dynamic role combines content creation, equipment handling, and marketing execution—perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, a creative mindset, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves in the yard.
• What You’ll Do
• Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos of used machines and generators for MustangCat.com, third-party platforms, and sales tools.
• Equipment Handling: Stage, clean, and move machines for promotional use (training provided for safe operation).
• Marketing Support: Assist with campaigns, listings, email promotions, and social media efforts focused on used equipment.
• Inventory Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to track new arrivals, updates, and product status.
• Data Management: Upload and maintain accurate specs, pricing, and machine history across multiple platforms.
• Market Insight: Monitor competitor listings and pricing to support sales strategy.
• Cross-Team Partnership: Collaborate with creative, digital, and sales enablement teams on used equipment promotions.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all listings and marketing align with Mustang Cat’s brand standards.
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic photography/video equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a yard environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in construction equipment, power systems, or related industries.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (training provided).
• Familiarity with Caterpillar products and industry platforms (MachineryTrader, Equipment Locator, Power Systems Today).
• Knowledge of photo editing or content management tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
